Kamala Beach, a 10-minute walk away.
One of Phuket's quietest stretches of sand, and our favourite sunset spot.

Kamala Beach stretches for nearly two kilometres along the west coast of Phuket. Calm swimming bays, a handful of beach bars and barefoot Thai restaurants, and almost no jet-skis at the north end where we send our guests.
Best time to visit: late afternoon, around 5pm, when the sun drops behind the Andaman and the sky goes pink. Bring a sarong, order a fresh coconut and stay for sunset.
How to get there: walk down our lane, turn right at the temple, and you'll be on the sand in about 10 minutes. Tuk-tuks also run from the front gate for ฿100.
